Responsibilities

The major responsibilities of the Visual Post Artist in the Death Battle team involve focusing on visual effects, lighting, and composite needs in collaboration with production staff. The responsibilities of the Death Battle Visual Post Artist Include:
– Providing consistency in visual representation throughout production phases
– Collaborating with 2D, Machinima, and Broadcast teams to provide support as required
– Using software tools such as Unreal, After Effects, and Blender to achieve the necessary production fidelity
– Following established protocols for project organization, version control, and file management structure
– Tracking deadlines and goals using production tracking software
– Communicating effectively and respectfully with the team

Qualifications

To be eligible for the role, you must have:
– At least two years of experience in game development or animation
– A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
– Experience in Unreal Engine to Blender imports, VFX creation, character/camera animation, Blueprints, and Materials setup.
– Adobe Suite knowledge, particularly in After Effects
– Knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony would be an added advantage
– Excellent time management, planning, and organization skills
– Ability to work well in high-pressure situations with minimum supervision
– Flexibility and the ability to adapt to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment
