Responsibilities:
- Assist Platforms & Services members in making better decisions using the information at hand.
Promote data knowledge and insights by controlling communications with partners and other teams, working together with coworkers to finish data projects, and making sure that everyone can apply the insights to advance their own performance. - Retain a customer-centric perspective while being a data-driven domain and product specialist, foster peer trust, and make sure that the teams and programs have access to data to make choices.
- Handle unclear issues and modify tools to address complex issues.
- Recognize the trade-offs between various approaches’ varying levels of quality and speed.
- design techniques to track data and troubleshoot issues, analyze and analyse the data to build a common language for all coworkers to comprehend these metrics, and design analytical frameworks to quantify team progress.
- Operationalize data processes to give partners access to self-service reporting tools, automated dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis so that everyone has a clear understanding of the state of the business.
Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years or more of relevant experience in a consumer internet firm, or with a fast-growing team or product.
- Strong SQL expertise and Python/R competency
- Knowledge of how to use data to get insight and achieve business goals
- Proficiency in data analysis and communication, including time series analysis, experimentation, data visualization, and developing your company’s KPI strategy.
- Outstanding team player who can sustain relationships
- Bachelor of Arts
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for Twitch, video games, and online communities
- Operational excellence experience, including defining metrics and analytics reporting
- Software development and operational event data working experience
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques like decision trees, logistic regression, and neural networks
