Responsibilities:
This position focuses on strategies to boost growth and subscription analytics. You will work directly with the teams working on products, businesses, data engineering, and instruments here. These categories generally describe the tasks:
- Build data pipelines and determine the data requirements for new initiatives in collaboration with engineering. Before launches, work with the instrumentation team to make sure tracking is set up.
- Define, monitor, and share critical metrics for the whole company and key objectives. To meet business requirements, create and maintain regular reports and offer ad-hoc analyses.
- Identify the most important conclusions from the data, and then distill them into suggestions for business owners.
- To support the planning, execution, and launch of new products and features on the roadmap, size new opportunities and collaborate with a large multi-functional team.
Key Requirements
- Business knowledge, with a boost if you have experience with growth or product analytics.
- The capacity to organize and resolve issues
- Knowledge of pipelines and data structures
- Python, R, or SQL
- The ability to communicate discoveries
- Excellent performance in multi-functional teams
- Statistics, commerce, business analytics, and applied mathematics bachelor’s or master’s degrees
- Preferably at a consumer tech company or a subscription business, with a minimum of five years’ experience.
Knowledge & Experience
A master’s degree is required at the very least in the quantitative disciplines of statistics, predictive analytics, or applied mathematics, or in information science. Experience in data science for at least five years is necessary.
