to help the Manager give the best possible purchasing, product delivery, and after-sale care to the Customer.

to support the Manager in making the customer order process as effective as possible. Customers will NOT be spoken to in this job.

These are the duties of this position. As required, further duties may be delegated:

Completes duties to the best of their abilities and within the allotted time.

Responsibilities:

  • Makes use of efficient time management strategies to complete work as allocated.
  • When certain details aren’t clear, asks questions and demands clarification.
  • Accurately and efficiently inputs customer orders into the computerized order processing system of the business.
  • Reads industry periodicals and other sources in search of fresh information.
  • Has a thorough understanding of how the various branch activities relate to one another.
  • Works fluidly with staff members from the showroom, warehouse, and slab sales.
  • Assures that all promises made to clients and colleagues are realistic and attainable.
  • Carefully considers what can be achieved. avoids making promises that are impossible to keep on purpose.
  • Exhibits a willingness and capacity to collaborate in a team setting.
  • Gets along well both on a daily basis and when called upon to take part in special events, such as inventory and/or parking lot sales, with other members of the AZT team.
  • Retains awareness of other companies’ offerings.
  • Exhibits competence with the company’s computer programs.
  • Accurately and efficiently inputs customer orders into the computerized order processing system of the business.
  • Stays up to date on newly released goods, goods that have been phased out, goods with supply issues, and goods that are out of stock. When appropriate, knows how to introduce them to comparable products while causing them as little inconvenience as possible.
  • Solve issues by attentively hearing what customers and coworkers have to say.
  • Comes up with a solution by employing sound problem-solving methods.
  • Strikes a balance between on-going projects and the Order Desk’s more pressing requests.

Top Skills Information:

Computer savvy, order entry, Microsoft Office, and administrative experience are required.

Additional abilities & credentials:

PERFECT TO HAVE:

  • Anyone with knowledge of freight. We need assistance with our LTLs, delivery, freight, etc.

Ability to work in a Microsoft® Windows® computing environment and enter data using a keyboard and mouse.

Must be dependable and have a positive attitude

Ability to define problems, gather information, establish facts, and come to solid conclusions. Also, the ability to decipher a wide range of technical diagrams and written instructions.
