Come help us launch Coinshift V2 and shape the future of Coinshift’s data function. As a Data Engineer, you will work with the product, growth, and marketing teams to build insights and analytics that will help them do their jobs better.

Responsibilities:

• Work with people in different parts of Coinshift to find ways to use data to help make product and business decisions.
• Take charge of and grow Coinshift’s analytics and data function.
• With the help of the team’s experienced engineers, design and build our data engineering infrastructure for long-term success.
• Set up a CDP and a product analytics app like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or PostHog (e.g. Segment)
• Research Web3 market trends and share what you learn with the rest of the team.
• Design and analyze product experiments to help launch products, measure their effects, and make decisions based on data.

Requirements:

• Product analytics tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, and CDP should be known well (e.g. Segment).
• Retool, Tableau, or any other useful analytics tool.
• Skills with SQL and Python
• Tools for data platform engineering that you know how to use (e.g. Apache Airflow).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a mind-set that is focused on the user or product.
• History of putting together analytics platforms.
• Strong, empathetic communication skills, and the ability to work well with people from different teams and deal with different points of view and possible disagreements.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (like computer science, statistics, economics, etc.) and at least 4 years of work experience in a product-based company.
• You are very interested in cryptocurrency. Tell us why you think it will change the future.
