Position Description:

ProgenyHealth is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our IT team. In a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) approach, the data analyst will work directly with ProgenyHealth stakeholders and the enterprise analytics team members, using agile methods inside DevOps to develop new analytics features for internal stakeholders and external clients.

This position will also create interactive visualizations in Tableau to give analysts, doctors, and leaders a fun, “ad-hoc light” way to interact with the data (filtering, sorting, drilling-down), which will help them make better decisions. This position will also continue to support dashboards, excel flat files, master data management, and metadata management layers.

Among the responsibilities are:

  • Plan design meetings and gatherings with internal stakeholders to create needs for reporting and dashboards as well as UAT strategies.
  • Utilizing best practices, monitor and update activities within Azure DevOps.
  • Utilize our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) strategy to deploy work.
  • Attend meetings for release management.
  • Support layers for master data management, reporting, dashboards, and metadata management on an ongoing basis.
  • Investigate and resolve performance problems using ad-hoc query contexts, dashboards, and reports.
  • As required by leadership, offer assistance to the data analyst intern and junior data analysts.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience using SSMS Must be able to create intricate, highly optimized queries across vast data sets.
  • 3+ years of expertise using Visual Studio.
  • 3+ years of experience using Tableau to produce and manage reports and interactive dashboards.
  • 3+ years of experience in the industry, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, methodologies, and technology, in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or related data engineering function.
  • Complete comprehension, including the ability to explain the differences between dimensional and relational data models.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, as well as ease when presenting to senior vice presidents and entry-level personnel.
  • Understanding of the ideas and procedures involved with ETL and data warehouses.
  • The capacity to communicate simple, non-technical information on complex or technical topics.
  • Ability to forge friendly ties and receptivity to stakeholder concerns.
  • Love for problem-solving, data visualization, and curiosity.
  • The ability to call into question the reliability, veracity, and assumptions made.
  • The satisfaction of working in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn in a hurried setting.
  • A B.S. in information technology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical discipline
