Position Description:

You’ll leverage your leadership abilities and data science knowledge on our team to make a significant difference in the world. A skilled team leader is needed to oversee a group of data analysts and dashboard developers. The lead will design and put into place procedures to enable ad hoc data, quick-turn analysis requests, and data incident management. This will entail working with stakeholders to acquire and comprehend needs, generating and supervising analysis and dashboards, and so on.

With teams concentrating on data science, strategic communications, and data governance, as well as utilizing Tableau, PowerBI, and ArcGIS, there is an opportunity to tackle complicated data problems. This is a hybrid position that requires both on-site work at a Booz Allen office or client location and remote work.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years’ experience in data exploration, cleansing, analysis, visualization, or mining
• Familiarity with analyzing both structured and unstructured data sources for at least five years
• 5+ years of experience leading a group of at least three people
• 5+ years of experience managing requirements and obtaining requirements Experience driving the development of complex program solutions
• Fostering dialogue and teamwork to get beyond obstacles and stumbling blocks
• Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or Esri ArcGIS as data visualization tools
• Being able to get a security clearance
• An undergraduate degree

If You Have:

• Knowledge of creating algorithms using R, Python, or SQL Knowledge of creating processes and process improvements
• Experience directing the development of analytical products in rapid-turn environments, such as rapid application development, and experience creating dashboards in Microsoft, Power BI Developer, or Tableau
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence, as well as data analysis, visualization, and analytics
• knowledge of facilitating interactive meetings
• Ability to deliver technical project updates and engage with consumers
• Possessing exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing
• Great facilitation and leadership abilities
