Position Description:

The position of Patient Provider Dispute Resolution/Independent Dispute Resolution Entity Data Analyst involves identifying data requirements both internally and externally, and creating the necessary tools (using SQL, Excel, SSRS, etc.), reports, and processes to achieve these requirements. To ensure that the PPDR and IDRE operate smoothly and successfully, the position collaborates closely with the operations analyst and project manager to facilitate, integrate, and improve these products on a continuous basis.

Significant Duties:

• utilizes statistical and relational database tools to analyze program data.
• Creates, creates, evaluates, and fixes routine data reports for all staff levels.
• summarizes the findings of statistical analyses using written reports, graphs, charts, and tables created with word processing, spreadsheet, and/or statistical software.
• develops and upholds knowledge of all available data sets that are pertinent to the assigned work areas in terms of their contents, constraints, and prospective uses.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, natural science, or a similar field from an approved college or university

Experience

• One (1) year of experience using Excel for data analysis, preferably SQL querying, recommended database/analysis tool experience
