Position Description:

Designs and implements procedures and solutions related to a wide range of data sets for data/text mining, analysis, modeling, and prediction in order to make informed business decisions. Gains insight into major business problems and deliverables by examining structured and unstructured data from numerous diverse sources using statistical analysis techniques. Collaborates with colleagues across departments and with customers to define requirements and solve business challenges. To generate answers, advanced mathematical, statistical, querying, and reporting approaches are used. Creates data tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries to track and enhance corporate performance. From initial concept to completely tested production, develops solutions and delivers outcomes to a diverse audience. Uses current and developing technology effectively.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Extracts and collects information from many sources and huge data sets from diverse systems in order to discover and analyze outliers.
• Establishes a procedure for monitoring, tracking, and trending departmental data.
• Prepares and analyzes any state-mandated reports and analyses.
• As needed, collaborates with internal, external, and corporate clients to investigate, design, and document new standard reports or processes.
• Implements and employs analytics software and systems to further the department’s objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

• Associate’s Degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience is required.
• 1-3 years
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience is required.
• 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
