Position Description:

The task of the site operations planner is to create service schedules that are timely, dependable, and economical while still satisfying client demands and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Create service activity schedules in CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo) utilizing inputs from engineering or service defined requirements, service technical notices, or wind turbine work instructions.
• Utilizing projected drive times and typical activity times, prioritize open work orders in accordance with the Nordex regulations and guidelines (bundling to reduce driving time, priority scheme, etc.).
• Make sure all incoming jobs have work orders set up, accurate, and technically closed quickly after work is finished.
• Make sure all required paperwork is included in completed work orders (maintenance works).
• Verify that the necessary material has been booked on the service order.
• Work together with O&M site and regional leadership to identify bottlenecks, resource shortages, and other capacity limitations as you track performance vs schedule. Make arrangements to avoid delays.
• For specified projects, prepare activity reports. Work together with O&M leadership to explain discrepancies and inform Service leadership of plan modifications.
• In order for cost and availability impacts to be specified and reported in the monthly financial forecast, make sure activity plans are promptly and accurately submitted to operations finance administrators.

Requirements:

• You must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferably with an associate’s degree or relevant experience
• Experience in the wind energy sector for 3-6 years is preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Maximo planning and work order management, as well as strong IT capabilities, are highly preferred.
