Position Description:

  • This position is part of the Customer Experience Division’s Hubs and Gateways Team.
  • Manage, create, and coordinate all customer-related activities to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and experience.

What you intend to do

  • Oversees day-to-day customer service operations across several sites, including ticket counter and gate activities.
  • Ensures that resources are used efficiently in order to meet operational performance goals.
  • All company and departmental protocols, including safety and security, are enforced.
  • Examines all workers’ staffing needs and bid schedules.
  • Ensures compliance by communicating procedure changes to Customer Service Managers and frontline staff.
  • Watches and analyzes trends in order to meet deadlines.
  • Employees are mentored and developed.
  • Highlights areas that need to be improved
  • Creates and implements processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Improves vendor relationships and ensures contractual responsibilities are met
  • Ensures that all internal audit standards are met.
  • Creates an annual budget and oversees its implementation.
  • Helps with CSM/Customer Service Supervisor interviews and selection.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Everything you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related subject, or comparable experience/training
  • 3 years of managerial experience in airline customer service

Education and prior job experience are preferred qualifications.

  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with computer software
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage fluctuating priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, as well as tolerance for high stress conditions
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage huge groups of personnel
