A wonderful chance to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy! As a pharmacy service representative, you will give patients requiring specialist drug therapy for life-sustaining conditions telephone help.

Responsibilities:

You will be in charge of organizing and processing prescription orders for both new and repeat patients, including benefit verification and revival. Additionally, you will assist our patients by translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, securing authorizations, and collaborating with insurance providers, healthcare organizations, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have clinical or accounts receivable issues.

To ensure the timely processing of speciality pharmaceuticals and to ensure that financial and clinical requirements are met prior to fulfillment, excellent communication skills are required to effectively deal with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners. This position is ideal for you if you enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and showing patients and clients that you genuinely care about them.

Schedule: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday

Required credentials

• Experience addressing and resolving a large volume of complicated customer requests over the phone for one year in a customer service role
• Having worked with Windows-based programs for a year, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, internet browsers, and email clients
• One year of proficiency and ability in computer keyboarding

Preferred Requirements

• Prefer six months of experience handling a lot of challenging phone calls from customers.
• Prefer experience working in the healthcare industry and expertise with benefits, insurance, prescription drugs, and medical language.
• Verifiable high school diploma or similar required for education
