Responsibilities:

As an Intake Representative in the Non-Clinical Call Center at eviCore healthcare, you will be the first point of contact for incoming callers as you handle all of their benefits requirements. This entails handling service requests, corresponding with doctors’ offices and the locations where the operations will be performed, as well as gathering and inputting the relevant personal and medical data to create the case file. Also, you’ll give status updates and act as our clinical staff’s contact when necessary.

You will participate in 6 weeks of in-depth training after joining us, which will help to assure your success at eviCore healthcare. Using a computer-generated system, you will accept incoming calls from medical practices and/or diagnostic facilities after receiving training. A mentor and supervisor will monitor your performance. You will need to be able to multitask because you will be listening, entering data, running searches on the Internet, and asking insightful questions. You’ll specifically:

  • Service Process Review Request notifications without the need for a medical necessity certification
  • Transfer Review of Services calls as soon as possible to a Clinical First Level Reviewer or Medical Reviewer for completion if they cannot be resolved using the formal script.
  • Collaborate with locations, patients, and doctor’s offices to look into and address any pre-certification issues, as well as to foresee unforeseen problems.
  • Give all callers with knowledgeable, respectful, and accurate information
