A few Customer Service Representatives are needed for Open Enrollment at one of the biggest healthcare providers in Utah (and one that is rapidly expanding) in Murray, Utah. The team is searching for a candidate with 1+ years of customer service experience (neither healthcare nor contact center expertise is essential). This role has the potential to be entry level. Responsibilities:
- Taking anywhere between 20 and 40 calls from customers, suppliers, internal staff, etc. to assist with answering and navigating inquiries during open enrollment
- Offers assistance and knowledge for one or more company processes or lines of operation.
- Input on the testing of new apps or adjustments to current systems.
- Assist in managing a spike in phone calls during any open enrollment periods
- When necessary, escalates calls to other internal teams
- Medicare and the government exchanges through which we sell insurance are the 2 main topics that we receive phone calls about.
Requirements:
- Although it is not necessary, call center experience is a benefit.
- Ability to empathize with others and offer helpful customer service over the phone
- Knowledge of open enrollment and member enrollment
- Handling several systems
- Working with or monitoring different types of employee data, benefit data, or eligibility data
