Availability: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST


  • The customer service representative for behavioral health helps the member with advocacy care, a clear path to care, understanding and resolving claims, and educating the member with online resources.
  • The customer care person explains the member’s benefits plan and Aetna policies and procedures while also providing tools to help the member adhere to any applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Establishes an emotional bond with our members by fully comprehending and interacting with them in order to advocate for their optimum health. creating a trustworthy and caring relationship with the member in order to completely grasp the member’s requirements. considers the needs of the client.
  • Examines the member’s claim history to make sure that benefit maximums and/or coinsurance/deductibles are accurately tracked. if necessary, performs maintenance on financial data. explains the contract-required obligations and rights of the member.

Pay Scale

The standard pay scale for this position is as follows: Minimum: 17.00 Maximum: 27.90

  • Minimum requirements include one to three years of call center environment customer service expertise.
  • Experience in the field of behavioral health is preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree – Insurance or medical experience
  • Educated to the high school level
