In addition to providing the member with a clear path to treatment, claim comprehension and resolution, and education through online resources, BH Customer Service Reps also act as an advocate for the member.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes an emotional bond with our members by fully comprehending and interacting with them in order to advocate for their optimum health. creating a trustworthy and caring relationship with the member in order to completely grasp the member’s requirements. considers the needs of the client.
• Examines the member’s claim history to make sure that benefit maximums and/or coinsurance/deductibles are accurately tracked. if necessary, performs maintenance on financial data. explains the contract-required obligations and rights of the member.

Pay Scale

The standard pay scale for this position is as follows: Minimum: 17.00 Maximum: 27.90

Requirements:

• Experience providing customer care for at least one year in a call center setting is a requirement.
• Educated to the high school level

Preferred:

• Experience in the field of behavioral health is preferred.

• Associates Degree – Insurance or a background in medicine.
