If so, this job at CVS Health, a Fortune 4 company, might be for you. We are now hiring Customer Care support teams for the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) division of CVS Health.

Responsibilities:

You will help members with their pharmacy benefit plans as part of this job. You will answer incoming calls and answer questions about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions so that our members can better understand their coverage and options. With your skills and knowledge, you will be able to give them the answers they need to make their health care easier. You’ll have the chance to learn more about health care while gaining new skills and opening the door to other opportunities at CVS.

If you meet the requirements, you can choose to work from home. Work-from-home requirements include, but are not limited to, having your own internet that meets speed requirements, having a safe workspace that is free of distractions, and finishing the training program successfully. In this role, you must follow HIPAA and follow government rules.

We have a full training program that will help you do well on the team. This includes up to 6 weeks of training on site. Training is set up so that you can learn by doing, interact with trainers, work at your own pace, and get involved in leadership from day one. Depending on how much experience a person has, training can take place on-site or at home.

Schedule options are made so that people can make a flexible work schedule that fits their needs at work and in their personal lives. We have full-time schedules that range from 30 to 40 hours per week. You will have set days off and hours, but your days off and hours may change.

As we hire people for our business in a strategic and flexible way, we may have to change scheduled work hours to keep up with changes in call volume. During times of high demand, we may ask you to work extra hours on top of your regular schedule. At other times, when there aren’t as many calls, we may ask coworkers to cut back on their scheduled hours. Any request to increase or decrease hours will be shared with a coworker in advance, and it won’t change whether or not someone is eligible for benefits. At CVS Health, we always try to meet business needs while keeping our coworkers in mind.

Starting pay is $17.50!

Pay Range

The usual range of pay for this job is: Minimum: 17.00 Maximum: 27.90

Please keep in mind that this range is the pay range for all jobs in the same job grade as this position. The actual salary offer will depend on a lot of things, like where the job is.

Requirements:

  • 1 year’s worth of experience talking to customers (i.e. call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience)
  • Computer skills with Windows-based programs
  • Ability to solve problems in a positive, useful way
  • Reliability and meeting standards for schedules

Ideal Qualifications

  • 6 months of work experience in a call center or a field related to health care
  • Having a medical assistant certification is a plus.
  • Experience caring for older people, being the main caregiver, or doing volunteer work in the community.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Ability to solve problems in a positive, useful way
  • Comfortable talking to customers in a way that shows they care about making their lives better and is patient and helpful.
  • Reliability and meeting standards for schedules
  • Ability to show patience and empathy, as well as confidence and assurance
  • Strong customer service skills, such as how to be polite and professional on the phone.
  • Strong speaking, interacting, and talking skills. Previous work-from-home experience is preferred but not required.

Education: High school diploma or experience that is the same
