Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering questions from customers, solving problems, and making sure that customers are happy with the products and services.
- Works with the Client Service Executive (CSE) and/or the Client Manager to make sure that the client’s needs are met and that any potential problems are avoided.
- Conducts on-site presentations for new hires, open enrollment for active employees and retirees, and benefits fairs for current and potential customers to teach and inform them about the plans available.
- Engage employees and give customers strategies for communication, health, and wellness related to the products and services they have bought.
- Handle complex questions, issues, and problems, send them to the right Cigna resources, or give them to someone else to handle.
- Send questions about customer service, administrative tasks, eligibility/claims, billing, and installation to the right service organization representatives.
- Work with the Client Manager and the Client Service Executive to keep customers informed of changes to procedures, laws, and other things that affect them and to give them advice.
- Keep up-to-date on and knowledgeable about all products, services, programs, and enrollment activities. Effectively explains and shows the market what CIGNA can do and what tools it has.
Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge (at least 3–5 years) in health care/managed care business and knowledge of administrative operations.
- Professional experience in the insurance industry is needed.
- Bachelor’s degree is a must.
- Has a good track record and/or shows clear leadership skills.
- Ability to manage systems and influence direct and matrix partners to deliver
- Excellent skills at building relationships
- Strong presentation skills
- Planning and organization skills that have been shown; the ability to plan for both the short and long term; the ability to work on a lot of things at once and figure out what comes first;
- Ability to build strong working relationships with matrix partners in the organization and use matrix resources to get things done.
- Previous experience with account management or being a service rep on-site is preferred.
- Not necessary, but it would be a plus if you could speak and write Spanish.
