Responsibilities:
As a member of our team and an IT customer service analyst, you will:
- Assist end users with front-line primary technical support for a range of technical difficulties, such as access, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- All service requests received via email, direct engagement, or ticketing systems must be addressed, documented, and resolved within the required SLA.
- Provide end users and peers with training, procedures, and documentation (in person or online) on existing technologies as well as upcoming implementations.
- Be able to diagnose, assess, and manage complex problems in a high-stress, high-visibility setting. When necessary, escalate problems and involve the proper teams to help find solutions.
- Perform a root cause analysis, create analytics to find recurring issues and patterns, and create processes and safeguards to prevent issues.
- Support a variety of platforms, both locally and remotely, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets.
- Independent labor, knowledge exchange, producing methods and documentation for peers.
- Maintaining a high level of performance with everyday duties while managing assignments to completion on time and within budget, this can include:
- Software and hardware testing for new products
- Remediation of security and compliance issues
- Acquisition Cutover
- able to support oneself and be an authority in the assigned service area.
- As allocated, offer 24-hour on-call support, shift flexibility, and as much travel as is necessary.
Pay Scale
The standard pay scale for this position is as follows: Minimum: 19.50 Maximum: 40.10
Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.
Requirements:
Required credentials
- 2+ years of experience in a desktop support position that is applicable.
- Certifications in A+, MCTS, or OS are necessary.
Preferred Requirements
- Strong preference for 3+ years in a comparable position.
- Windows 7/10, MAC OS, MTA, MCTS, A+, Network+, Security+, and Certifications
Education
- Computer science bachelor’s degree. For every year of college that was not completed, if there is no degree, one year of experience is needed.
