Responsibilities:

  • Maintains cordial connections and offers amiable assistance to all customers, whether internal and external.

  • Accountable for meeting the needs of individuals wishing to travel, use cargo, or baggage services and delivering renown customer service
  • Manages all facets of ticketing and check-in, including reservations, boarding, luggage service, and the use of an automated point-of-sale system. It also addresses any issues or complaints that may arise.
  • One of your responsibilities is to treat customers with courtesy and friendliness. accepts payment for tickets via cash, cheques, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons. calculates fees, produces change, and keeps track of everyday transactions. Is accountable for excess or insufficiency
  • Checks for cargo and baggage. Answers the phone to help consumers, address complaints or issues, and provide information to callers. manages the paperwork needed to board the aircraft quickly and effectively.
  • Handles cases where customers were mistreated due to oversales, canceled or delayed flights, misplaced, damaged, or delayed luggage. promptly and in accordance with the company’s requirements resolves such issues
  • Accompanies customers and other terminal visitors with general enquiries and provides up-to-date and accurate information on fares, schedules, reservations, and flight arrival/departure information.
  • Fulfills the paperwork and reports that the company requests.
  • Writes the necessary reports on irregularities and complaints.
  • Depending on the station’s size and structure, duties may change.
  • All physical conditions specified in this description must be met.
  • May carry out additional tasks as assigned by the leaders of the employees

Requirements:

Know-How, Proficiency, and Abilities

  • Capacity to type and/or operate a computer keyboard quickly enough to fulfill employment requirements
  • Able to read and comprehend written materials, adhere to guidelines, and become familiar with ticketing practices, laws, and regulations
  • The capacity to interact with others, function as a team, and perform well under pressure
  • Must be able to successfully finish the Customer Service Agent training course with an average of at least 80% and via an assessment phase.
  • Has must be able to recognize potentially dangerous circumstances and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Working under strict time limitations is necessary to complete airplane rotations quickly.
  • Must maintain a neat look in compliance with the Labor Agreement and Ground Operations Employee Handbook.
  • Ability to complete all job duties in a constrained area
  • Must be able to speak clearly over the phone, in person, and through public speech systems.
  • Needs to be proficient both in writing and speaking
  • Information and instructions must be able to be communicated orally or through radio technology.

Authorization/Authorization

  • Need to be able to acquire a SIDA badge and fulfill all airport regulations in the area
  • Station Leadership may mandate that you get a Customs Seal and fulfill all prerequisites in order to work on international flights.
  • Bodily Capabilities
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift and/or move weights weighing between 40 and 50 pounds onto raised platforms, as well as regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb, bend, and kneel often.
  • Must continue to be able to wear the required uniforms

Other Requirements

  • Must keep a well-groomed appearance in accordance with set norms and company appearance standards.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or be authorized under the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 to work in the United States
  • Must be at least eighteen years old.
  • Must be able to adhere to the company’s attendance requirements as outlined in formal policies.
  • The capacity to labor overtime or in shifts
  • Proficiency in foreign languages is preferred, but not necessary.
