Responsibilities:

  • Builds excellent relationships with all internal and external customers by providing polite service to them.
  • Works collaboratively to make our company successful.
  • To provide renowned customer care to those wishing to travel, utilize a cargo service, or use a luggage service by attending to their needs
  • Operates a computerized point-of-sale system, handles boarding, luggage service, reservations, and any other part of ticketing and check-in while handling related issues and complaints.
  • It is part of one’s responsibility to treat customers with respect and courtesy. accepts payment for tickets using cash, cheques, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons. charges are calculated, change is made, and daily transactions are balanced. is accountable for any excess or lack
  • Checks in cargo and luggage. Answers the phone to inform callers, page clients, handle issues or complaints, and offer assistance as necessary. carries out the necessary transactions to board the airplane quickly and effectively.
  • Focuses on handling customers who have been mistreated as a result of overselling, delayed or canceled flights, missing, delayed, or damaged luggage. Quickly and in accordance with the Company’s defined rules, resolves such issues.
  • Provides up-to-date and accurate fare, schedule, reservation, and flight arrival/departure information, as well as responding to all general questions from customers and other terminal visitors.
  • Fills out forms and reports as necessary for the business.
  • Reports irregularities and complaints as needed.
  • Due to the station’s size and structure, duties may change.
  • Any physical conditions specified in this description must be met.
  • May carry out additional tasks as instructed by an employee’s leaders

Requirements:

Information, abilities, and skills

  • The ability to type quickly enough to meet employment requirements on a computer keyboard or other input device.
  • Able to read and follow directions, as well as grasp and comprehend ticketing rules and processes
  • Ability to interact with the public, operate under pressure, and function well in a team
  • Must be able to successfully finish a training program for customer service agents with a grade point average of at least 80% and an evaluation period.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies and be aware of potentially dangerous situations.
  • To complete rapid airplane rotations, one must work under strict time limits.
  • Must maintain proper grooming as required by the Ground Operations Employee Handbook and Labor Agreement.
  • Must be competent to carry out all job duties in a small area.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone, in person, and over public address systems.
  • Must be proficient in both writing and speaking
  • Ability to provide information and instructions either orally or through radio equipment

Licensing/Certification

  • Must be able to acquire a SIDA badge and fulfill all prerequisites for the nearby airport
  • Obtaining a Customs Seal and fulfilling all qualifications to work on international flights may be required by Station Leadership.

Physical Prowess

  • Must be able to repeatedly lift and/or move weights of 40 to 50 pounds onto raised platforms and lift and/or move objects up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, and stand frequently and for long periods of time.
  • Must continue to be able to wear the required uniforms

Other Requirements

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Company’s defined norms for appearance.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or possess authorisation to work there as per the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Age requirement of at least 18 years.
  • Must be able to adhere to the company’s specified norms for attendance.
  • Being able to work extra or shift work
  • Foreign language proficiency is preferred but not necessary.
