We are looking for a Customer Advisor who will help assigned Enterprise Greenfield (early-stage) AWS customers use AWS Marketplace more. AWS Marketplace is a digital catalog that customers can use to find, buy, deploy, and manage the third-party software, data, and professional services they need to run their businesses on AWS.

Customer Advisors who are good at their jobs are enthusiastic, quick to respond, and able to build trust and relationships with both internal and external customers. They love helping their customers improve how they do business and coming up with new ways to solve problems. They can talk to both technical and non-technical people at all levels of an organization and do it well. They know how important a strong ecosystem of channel partners is.

In this role, you will work with our AWS field sales teams, our channel partners, and independent software vendors to help our customers with their cloud procurement projects. A typical day might include calls, meetings, or presentations to one or more of these groups. Customer Advisors are the voice of our customers back to product management and engineering. They help bring new features to the AWS Marketplace by relaying what our customers want. Lastly, Customer Advisors spend time thinking about how to grow and expand our business from a strategic point of view. They then come up with and run programs to meet these goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and run programs to get more customers to use AWS Marketplace.
  • Provide thought leadership to help customers through the strategic transformation of their software and data supply chains.
  • Build strategic relationships with the customer’s procurement, technology, and business leaders to speed up the adoption of AWS Marketplace.
  • Help our AWS Marketplace sellers do cross-selling
  • Get feedback from customers to shape product roadmaps.
  • Show senior management business reports on goal progress, new projects, and requests.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities well while meeting key performance metrics

Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 or more years of work or military experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8 years or more of experience in sales, business development, or program management
