Position Description:

To assist in responding to inquiries about the company’s goods and services from investment consultants, current clients, and potential clients, Voya IM is looking to recruit a Request for Proposal (RFP) Writer. RFPs, Requests for Information (RFI), and Due Diligence Questionnaires will be used to collect the responses. The RFP writer will be expected to work with numerous departments across Voya IM to complete these projects and manage several concurrent assignments from start to submission. The language collection will also need to be updated and expanded, according to the RFP writer. This position will report to the Voya IM Head of RFP and work in close coordination and interaction with sales and customer service. To provide a high level of service and the best chance to win new business and keep clients, the RFP writer will work to make sure that all deliverables are comprehensive, accurate, and compliant.

Your Contributions Will Be:

• overseeing and writing institutional RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs for the full range of Voya Investment Management products. Both qualitative and quantitative data are provided in the responses.
• In order to efficiently design and manage all production timelines and fulfill internal and external deadlines, adhere to the RFP Process requirements.
• Participate in teamwide projects to enhance workflows and generate efficiency.
• As required, conduct peer reviews of RFPs.
• Respond accurately and promptly to ad hoc and consultant questionnaire requests.
• Work together with every member of the RFP, Consultant Relations, Sales, and subject matter experts across the company.
• help in maintaining and updating the content management system (RocketDocs).
• Must be client-focused and eager to go above and beyond.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally with preparing new business proposals (RFP) for institutions engaged in asset management.
• Strong knowledge of the institutional investment market; familiarity with fixed income is greatly preferred.
• Strong project management abilities and meticulousness.
• superior verbal and written communication abilities.
• a track record of success managing several tasks in a time-constrained setting.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities; capacity to establish and keep cooperative relationships.
• abilities to solve problems creatively.
• Preferably, a bachelor’s degree in a related subject or comparable work experience
• strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
