Amazon is looking for a Copywriter who can give all of their current and future content a high level of detail in their writing. This person will write and edit long-form, medium-length, and short-form editorial content for a wide range of marketing communications for both internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Content creation and review means putting together and looking over any new content requests that come in. This includes videos, articles, emails, posters, flyers, decks, FAQ updates, press releases (co-owned with PR), talking points, and infographics.
- Content Management: Content management is the process of keeping content and messages about Career Choice up-to-date. It also needs the hosting of content to be kept up and standardized.
- Work with stakeholders at all levels to talk and write about complex ideas in a way that a wide range of global stakeholders can understand.
- Send out messages, content, and templates.
- Focus on the what, when, why, and how of communication requests to define content strategy, including the benefits of projects and changes in the organization.
- With help from the team, respond to escalations and provide an analysis of the root cause and suggestions.
- Meet deadlines, put work in order of importance, keep track of engagement metrics, and pay close attention to details if you want to meet organizational goals and quality standards.
- Manage the delivery of different types of marketing content like emails, articles, blog posts, posters, flyers, webinars, presentations, case studies, scripts, and more on a regular basis.
This is a hybrid position that can be based in any of our Regional Offices.
Key job responsibilities
• Helping with the translation process, translation reviews, and localization. • Taking care of day-to-day content publishing in all required environments and all languages. • Being in charge of the product intake process and queue for product-related content requests, as well as auditing and improving the process. • Working with different Career Choice groups to create and edit content as needed.
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or advanced studies in Journalism, Professional Writing, Communications, or a similar field. • Professional writing experience. • Experience with a variety of writing styles, including technical, creative, and marketing writing. • Strong user understanding and proven expertise in web content, onsite marketing, branding, communications, and design. • Experience with online/onsite content strategy and development, email communications, and content development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a multi-language publishing environment, including globalization for translation, terminology databases and management, and other world-ready methods. Proven project management skills.
