Responsibilities:
On Board Services is looking for a self-motivated person with operational expertise who has a solid understanding of the Catering operations. They must have excellent interpersonal and communication abilities that are in compliance with traffic laws. They must be able to speak for the OBS organization and communicate upstream. When operational restrictions arise, they must be acutely aware of the impact on the consumer. On a daily basis, they will be expected to foster a safety culture and excellence in operations. For Catering Operations, this person will keep an eye on all last-mile activities at the station level. They will answer directly to the Regional Manager and communicate often with Vice President, Managing Director, and Director level executives.
- In charge of coordinating daily operations at the catering ramp
- Being knowledgeable about and cooperating with all ACS disciplines inside the ACC
- Maintain a high standard for aircraft, food, and ramp safety
- Continuously keeping an eye out for any missing catering supplies or equipment while planning their supply through cater dispatch to ensure an on-time departure.
- supports all activities of the Charter
- Partner with ACS to provide open ramp areas to prevent catering trucks from blocking gates.
- In close contact with the ACC’s Gate Keeper post in order to exchange information and organize aircraft swaps
- During all tactical and strategic planning sessions for your station, carefully collaborate with the OCC Catering desk to monitor ground radio frequencies and coordinate as necessary.
- Constant attention and commitment to the provisioning guidelines, rules, and processes that have been published
- Primary point of contact for completion of the template and delay root cause analysis
- When a degree of high operational impact has been established, become familiar with the Catering business continuity plans.
- When appropriate, comprehend and put flight prioritizing from a catering standpoint into practice.
- Recognize and use high wind protocols when necessary
- Keep a close eye on any local weather conditions or other problems that can affect a station. IROP
- Work efficiently with all indicated apps and tools, including Flight Family, FACTs, Bridge Desktop, IFX, O2P, and GP4.
- Ensures that the relevant leadership is informed of the current operational challenges and issues.
- It is expected that you will use your creativity to overcome obstacles and do what’s best for Delta customers.
- For this level of work, the starting pay scale is between $20.62 and $45.86 per hour.

Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- Candidates for this position should possess a GED or high school graduation, at the very least.
