Responsibilities:
- Establish and formulate a worldwide approach for participating in and supporting sizable third-party developer conferences and events across the globe, encompassing communities that might not be affiliated with AWS
- Develop and implement tactics for an unofficial presence at small-scale community gatherings, such as meetups for third-party developers.
- · Present a plan detailing how these developer interactions will contribute to the achievement of immediate commercial objectives, mutual benefit, and long-term developer community trust.
- Determine the most important technological trends (such generative AI) and consider how developer event engagement strategy should be influenced by these trends.
- · Form internal alliances and structures to enable stakeholders from various organizations to coordinate around a shared third-party developer event plan.
- Construct an internal federation involving several organizations (such as Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Developer Relations, and Product Teams) and synchronize these stakeholders with a shared third-party developer event plan.
- Establish protocols, keep up-to-date playbooks, and serve as a consultant for these internal teams when they interact with developers at external events.
- · Establish and oversee procedures for evaluating and measuring the effects of engagements at third-party developer events over the short and long terms.
Requirements:
PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS
- Over six years of experience in professional, non-internship marketing; familiarity with utilizing metrics and data to make improvements
- Proficiency in informing stakeholders of outcomes
- Proficiency in conveying outcomes to upper management
DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS
- Expertise in creating, implementing, and growing cross-functional marketing initiatives;
- Proficiency in consumer segmentation, profiling, and targeting;
- Understanding of developer inclinations toward community events, activities, and learning resources, among other things.
