Position Description
ICF, a nationally recognized company, is in search of a full-time Communications Specialist with experience working on developing a wide range of communications to support senior leadership. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with our federal government clients and internal ICF team members. They will help promote the use of new technologies, tools, and platforms, improve customer service, and increase engagement with stakeholders and customers. As an excellent communicator with an enthusiasm for collaboration, the ideal candidate will have a proactive work approach and a genuine interest in IT.
Responsibilities
• Develop and drive successful implementation of communications strategy
• Lead communications research
• Promote the use of new technologies, tools, and platforms
• Develop and coordinate digital communications such as newsletters, blog posts, web content, email campaigns, and presentations
• Monitor and manage the OCIO’s Communications inbox for internal communications
• Independently manage projects
• Build partnerships within the agency
• Support clients in their efforts to improve or streamline business processes
• Develop, coordinate, and implement ongoing outreach, promotional, and communications efforts
Qualifications
• 5 years of communications experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field, or 4 additional years of work experience
• Master’s Degree in Communications or related field is preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise-level IT programs and communications preferred
• Strong written and editing skills
• SharePoint experience
• Demonstrated ability to leverage myriad communications channels
