You will support Amazon’s eero product line as a member of the Offline Marketing and Sales team. We are inspired by our consumers, and they have played a key role in the development of our products, displays, services, customer experiences, and more. You will represent Amazon to staff and customers in offline retail accounts, and as a team, we work hard to deliver the top-notch customer service.
Owning a territory of physical retail locations and overseeing merchandising for Amazon as a Market Trainer will be your responsibility. You take on the role of the Amazon specialist, strongly relying on your capacity for non-authoritarian persuasion to drive project deliverables. While gathering market intelligence, you will carry out and manage in-store product transitions and retailer communications. You will educate sales representatives and support personnel about Amazon Devices & Services, improving the customer experience and indirectly affecting your territory’s sales and advocacy metrics. To do store visits in nearby markets and for team meetings, you could be required to travel overnight (conferences, trainings, team building events, etc.)
Market Trainers must be able to work 40 hours per week of variable hours, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your business savvy and critical thinking abilities to spot trends, conduct root cause studies, and fix problems with retail operations across your market.
- Gather consumer and store associate feedback on the industry to inform decisions on products, features, and distribution channels.
- Utilizing a range of sales tools and store profiles, manage weekly travel to a sizable region of stores in order to influence sales and brand advocacy.
- Build trusting connections with important internal and external stakeholders, including general managers, area managers, and regional managers.
- Increase sales through the offline retail channel by focusing on KPIs
- Achieving your business-related objectives (advocacy, compliance, metrics, trainings, coverage, team, org).
- Upload digital images along with daily in-store reports that detail visits.
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain display fixtures and equipment efficiently for a variety of national retail establishments.
- Implement standard operating processes, identify areas for improvement, put solutions into place, and give regular feedback to store managers, regional leaders, and corporate stakeholders to generate exceptional results in your market by delegating and exerting influence.
- Create, streamline, and distribute best practices
- Control retailer communications and in-store product changes.
- Make sure that your direct team and area’s retailers appropriately deploy and maintain the Amazon in-store experience and merchandising in accordance with the supplied standards of execution.
- In both small- and large-group settings, inform shop employees about the benefits of Amazon and eero products and services.
- During large-scale events, conduct sales and training based on the demands of the program and the market.
- Communicate (verbally and in writing) with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders in a way that has a national impact.
- Organize your work and travel budgets.
What a day looks like
Market Trainers heavily rely on influence without formal authority to push projects to completion, increase brand loyalty, and enhance the shopping experience. At the market and district levels, they cultivate relationships with important internal and external players. They act as the eero, Amazon, product, and service authority, organizing group training sessions for sales representatives on how to offer eero products and services from Amazon. Market Trainers regularly collaborate with retail partners and customers to collect information that will be used to improve products and services and direct company choices. They make that all eero devices and services are integrated to the same quality across retailers for the Amazon in-store experience and merchandising.
About the group
Selling Amazon products into physical retailers across the United States and Canada is the responsibility of the Amazon Offline Sales & Marketing team. Market Trainers oversee retail sales and marketing initiatives for Amazon-branded goods. They are in charge of the in-store experience, cultivating connections, district/store-level training, and using consumer encounters to promote Amazon and its brands. Market Trainers work to boost sales of Amazon-branded goods in retail establishments while also educating customers and store employees on the benefits of Amazon devices, accessories, and Amazon in general.
Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Spend up to 8 hours at a time standing.
- Up to 50 pounds may be pushed, pulled, lifted, or carried (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Work flexibly, including on weekends and evenings (40 hours a week)
- own an iOS or Android-compatible smartphone, which is required to use Wiser.com.
- have access to dependable transportation, a current driver’s license, evidence of insurance, and the ability to move between job sites during the workday.
- occasionally travel over night
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of relevant job experience managing several retail accounts/locations, ideally in the high-tech or consumer electronics sectors
- Presentation skills and ease in front of huge crowds
- Display a keen eye for detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking
