This is a non-exempt, full-time role that answers to our RCM Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Give our patients a warm, welcoming greeting.
• With the aim of resolving issues over the phone, discuss and address consumer inquiries.
• updating insurance billing and sensitive data
• Take payments with credit cards.
• Oversee jobs in our internal work queues and update data as needed.
• Call patients who have made inquiries via the internet to address their problems and provide solutions.
• Assist collecting agencies in updating and delivering precise data.
• In addition to updating and billing insurance, reply to attorney requests for balances and correspondence.
• Finalize the process for patient self-pay accounts, including checking messages, posting funds, and addressing any issues.

Requirements:

• Preferable is prior experience handling a high contact volume in a call center or other customer service capacity.Prior medical experience is highly advantageous.
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities and a polished appearance
• The capacity to complete tasks by the deadline
• strong communication skills both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service
• people with a keen eye for detail and good team dynamics incredibly driven by oneself
• Capacity to perform effectively in a hectic and occasionally demanding setting.
• extended durations of using a computer while seated at a desk. the capacity to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
