Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming calls from the State of Michigan offering education, enrollment, and hotline services. This particular position will help Provider offices with any queries they may have regarding patients’ claims. They will assist customers who might be having problems using the website or people who do not have access to it. Employees will help the customer by applying their system-specific expertise (acquired during training). Every incoming call will be answered by them. To update the system in real time, they will be speaking and typing simultaneously. Calls may be placed back to back and arrive in a queue. The next call can come right away after the previous one ends.

Requirements:

• Capacity to use dual monitors and feel at ease working on a computer
• On the typing exam we will administer, 25 WPM Exam results will be entered into Fieldglass.
• They will have to answer calls while simultaneously talking and typing (in real time).
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Since this position requires speaking clearly and concisely on the phone,
• Experience with customer service (could be call center, retail, banking, face to face or over the phone customer service)
• Shift adaptable
