Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Suitable Candidates:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or the equivalent in the GED
  • Must work and reside within a 75-mile radius of Miami International Airport.
  • Will be able to perform tasks while remaining at a workstation for extended periods of time. Will be able to work as scheduled and in accordance with the American Airlines Attendance policy. Will pay close attention to details and handle multiple tasks with accuracy while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Possess the self-discipline and accountability necessary to carry out job duties with little supervision. They are also resourceful, excellent at problem-solving, and capable of handling challenging or stressful situations.
  • Will be able to work a range of schedules, including morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts. Seniority-based assignments for weekends and holidays will be made based on our 24-hour operating demands.

The most challenging candidates:

  • Are comfortable navigating through several programs while on a call and leveraging technology
  • Possess prior experience working in a contact center environment providing reservations and/or customer service
  • Thrive on achieving objectives and constant growth
  • Possess a love for traveling and the curiosity, expertise, and experience to work as a trusted advisor for clients

You must supply at your own expense:

  • A designated, distinct space in the house where you can work, together with an ergonomic workstation
  • Every piece of technology, including the computer, the monitor, the keyboard, the mouse, and the surge protector (a USB headset will be provided).
  • Have and maintain adequate illumination, a grounded electrical outlet, and correctly placed smoke detectors.
  • Must have access to dependable transportation to team meetings and training
