Representing the facility in designated markets, such as hospitals, crisis centers, doctors’ offices, mental health providers, and other designated organizations or agencies, is the responsibility of the Business Development Liaison. Work directly with physicians, social workers, discharge coordinators, clinicians, and management to create new sources of referrals, nurture existing ones, and continuously advertise Plum Creek Recovery Ranch in the behavioral healthcare sector. To continuously raise the facility’s general level of community awareness, the liaison needs to develop and maintain a pipeline of client referral sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Hears what customers have to say, helps find and assess new offerings, and presents to administration
  • helps with information collection and research to create marketing, public relations, and other facility communication projects.
  • Helps with the planning, arranging, and execution of a range of departmental internal and external events, including networking gatherings, facility tours, health fairs, open houses, and outreach initiatives.
  • creates strategy plans every two months.
  • Exhibits good prospecting and qualifying abilities.
  • Uses the seven phases of the “sales” cycle with potential and current referral sources in an efficient manner.
  • Asks for business recommendations at every meeting.
  • satisfies the requirements of the sales team, which include a combination of scheduled visits, cold contacting, follow-ups, and information drops about discharge.
  • Maintains the database system connected to sales operations.

Requirements:

Workplace Prerequisites

Education and/or Certification Five years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline are desired. A GED or high school diploma is needed. No license is necessary.

Experience

Five (5) years in community relations and/or marketing for healthcare, ideally in the field of behavioral health. must have outstanding communication abilities, both in writing and speaking. the capacity to take the initiative, solve problems, and act correctly.

Extra requirements: a current driver’s license issued in Texas. Spanish bilingualism is a bonus.

Physical prerequisites and environmental factors
