Position Description:
Analyzes complicated business challenges and issues with data from internal and external sources to present decision-makers with insight. To locate influences, identifies and evaluates trends and patterns in datasets. Based on corporate data and market expertise, creates projections, recommendations, and strategic/tactical strategies. Creates report and analysis requirements based on business needs and required or available data items. Collaborates with clients to adapt or customize current analyses or reports to fit their specific requirements. Participate in management reviews by presenting and evaluating analysis results, summarizing conclusions, and recommending next steps. This is a broad position in which people deal with a variety of company data. Internal activities or external clients may be the emphasis.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Provides a basis for analytical and problem-solving thinking, including definition and documentation, requirements.
- Recognizes, recognizes, and documents changes to existing business processes, as well as discovers new opportunities for process creation and improvement.
- All data relevant to a given area of expertise is reviewed, researched, analyzed, and evaluated.
- The process of becoming a subject matter expert begins.
- Conducts analysis and use analytical skills to uncover root causes and aid with problem resolution in accordance with state regulations.
- Analyzes business workflow and system requirements for conversions and migrations to guarantee compliance with encounter, recovery, and cost-saving laws.
- As needed, creates high-level user documentation and training materials.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
- Associate’s Degree or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent
- 3-5 years of business analysis experience
4+ years of experience in managed care
Demonstrates knowledge of a wide range of concepts, methods, and processes relevant to job-related subject areas.
Preferential Education - A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience is required.
