Position Description:

The Price & Promotions Team is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team who is passionate about finding creative solutions to challenging issues. This individual will help us to conduct top-notch research and analysis and co-invent the future of grocery with our customers.

Essential job duties

• Create, create, and keep up dashboards for reporting business metrics to assess the success of omnichannel pricing and promotions and to guide company strategy.
• Develop excellent SQL code to retrieve and analyze pricing and promotion data, customer purchase behavior data, and customer insights data. – Learn and comprehend a wide range of Amazon’s data resources and be aware of when, how, and when not to use each one.
• Transform the data gathered from SQL code and current customer metric dashboards made by other business intelligence teams into insights, consequences, and recommendations that are precise and useful to the entire organization.
• Share insights with stakeholders through data visualization and presentations.
• Working with brand-new, confusing business problems that haven’t been solved yet gives you the possibility to invent and use creative solutions to them.
• Keep up with the latest analytics trends and best practices.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience using Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools like Tableau. – 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a comparable analytical discipline.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification – 3+ years of experience in business or financial analysis
• Knowledge in defining requirements and deriving business insights from data and metrics
• SQL and Excel experience – generating business recommendations and influencing stakeholders experience
