Position Description:

The primary responsibilities of the Software Sales Consultant include building and maintaining connections with newly acquired partners and clients as well as introducing our MyQ Managed Print and Scan Workflow Solution software to potential business partners in the North American market.

The ideal applicant would have knowledge of the processes involved in selling MFP machines or B2B software/solutions.


  • To business partners within the specified territory, present the MyQ Printing solution.
  • Find new business prospects by contacting decision-makers via a variety of channels (email, phone/cold calls, webinars, trade exhibitions, customer visits)
  • Actively grow the partner network by approving new partners in accordance with predetermined standards with the assistance and ongoing support of the support department.
  • managing current accounts, maintaining regular contact with clients, and managing relationships
  • Give current business partners sales training. Make sure customers understand how to use the products and services and offer support as needed.
  • Address customer complaints
  • Work closely with the Support and R&D teams to identify and address any unique client needs.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail when monitoring each sales activity via the company’s CRM platform (notes, follow-ups, emails, business travels, call logs).
  • Business/Territory Planning (doing a territory assessment, identifying targets and KPIs, creating growth goals and strategies, establishing sales and revenue targets, conducting routine reviews of sales and promotional efforts to improve and pinpoint expansion potential)
  • Learn how to highlight and describe the advantages of MyQ products over rivals.
  • Develop in-depth product and market expertise, keep an eye on the market and competitors, and promote MyQ.
  • Travel within the specified region, prospect visits, attendance at local and distant conferences and roadshows, partner event planning, etc.
  • Spend roughly 50% of your workweek on the job site.

  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking.

  • Microsoft Office knowledge and Salesforce CRM experience are advantages.
