Position Description:
Our Senior Product Manager will oversee our Decision Trust product. Decision Trust utilizes global intelligence to assist in determining the fraud risks associated with an application, with the intention of expanding credit access to credit-invisible populations. The Senior Product Manager will be able to work in a growing, innovative, and fast-paced product team in a global market segment with high demand.
You will be responsible for creating a commercially successful product strategy and driving project execution with minimal direction, based on qualitative and quantitative customer knowledge. You will develop strong relationships with technology in an effort to meet customer needs, and you will be considered a key stakeholder for new feature feedback. You will mentor junior PMs informally and conduct interviews and hire new PM candidates.
Critical Experiences:
- Recognized as the sole owner of a product or major product feature.
- Market launch of new products or product features, beginning with collaborative conceptualization and ending with post-launch management.
- Frequent interactions with product customers that result in favorable business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business-related subject is preferred, but not required.
- Spanish and English proficiency is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum Recommendation for Years of PM Experience: 6 to 8.
Responsibilities:
- Collects, evaluates, and possesses a solid comprehension of customer use cases.
- Maintains close contact with customers to gauge the direction of the market while taking multiple factors into account.
- Creates processes that can identify customer needs.
- Aligns and coaches the team to guarantee that customer requirements are met.
- Competitors and regulatory environment are well understood.
- Segments markets and has a deeper understanding of the needs of these sub-segments. Data-driven analysis and decision making
- Utilizes metrics to monitor progress on customer needs and ensures that product efforts drive metrics.
- Ability to access and extract data from multiple sources, as well as manage data ambiguity.
- Considers multiple options to strike a balance between competing complex priorities.
- Establishes key performance indicators, priorities, and dashboards, and identifies the most crucial data to consider.
- Develops multiple output evaluation strategies based on hypotheses and evaluates the expected effectiveness of each.
- Takes a data-driven, analytic approach to situations in which rigorous data sets are unavailable.
- Develops precise go-to-market strategies in coordination with client-facing teams such as marketing and sales.
- Creates materials for public relations, marketing, and sales.
- Where applicable, supports pricing strategy.
- Independently assumes responsibility for assigned aspects of the strategy’s launch and execution.
- Participates and contributes to strategic business planning, focusing on sales and business development.
