Position Description:
You are able to handle creatively the US marketing assets and inputs for Build Change’s website, social media accounts and content, Annual Report, quarterly newsletters, appeals, success stories, promotional videos, and other outreach materials. In addition, you have imaginative suggestions for Build Change’s many fundraising activities.
Responsibilities:
- A creative marketing strategy that leads to a growth in followers and donors, as well as solid brand recognition
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of energy, and the ability to talk eloquently in front of large and small groups.
- Superior, professional, and varied writing, presentation, and communication skills, with the capacity to adjust depending on the audience.
- Work autonomously, including some evenings and weekends, and travel as needed
- Speak passionately about the mission of Build Change
- You would characterize yourself as being optimistic, adaptable, modest, patient, and humorous.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while simultaneously making significant contributions as a team member
- Native-level English
Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a comparable professional role, with a track record of successful marketing and communications
- Activities and proficiency with websites, social media platforms, and metrics for measuring communication performance.
And maybe you also:
- Having worked in the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia, or emerging nations; have international development experience; have
- Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles; and have worked in the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia, or emerging nations
- Speak Spanish, French, or any of the other languages spoken in our program nations.
