Position Description:
Customer Service Agent for Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending (CCUL) For TD Credit Customers (Consumers, Corporate, and Commercial), I carry out a range of tasks, such as handling phone, written, and other enquiries about account balances, interest rates, lost or stolen cards, charges, balance transfers, statement requests, fraud, and other problems. This position makes sure that their own work, as well as the work of any employees they supervise, complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. These policies, which are listed on the company intranet, include the Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Customer, Fair Lending, and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.
Position Requirements
- Performs a variety of customer care tasks for CCUL credit clients. Refers more difficult inquiries to staff with more expertise. Assists with research projects as needed, especially with data gathering. Answers questions from customers by phone, email, and other channels about account balances, interest rates, charges, statement requests, and other topics.
- • Refers customer grievances to the research area • Addresses issues as soon as possible within the scope of authority, defers for further investigation, or forwards to supervision or dispute resolution if necessary Processes customer correspondence from the website, fax, and mail Updates the information on Customer accounts Consult more knowledgeable customer support representatives with any issues or queries.
- acquires knowledge of applicable consumer credit and other regulatory requirements, as well as credit card products and services, division rules and procedures, and credit customer service industry best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience • 1 year of related experience • Research skills, including the ability to find and evaluate pertinent information • Communication skills, both verbal and written, including excellent phone skills and the ability to clearly document calls and account activity • PC skills • Must be available to work a variable schedule that includes weekends and holidays
