Position Description:

You might be a good fit for Progressive’s call center staff if you take pride in assisting people and thrive in a hectic setting. By answering incoming calls, you’ll assist and cultivate trust with our clients by attending to their particular needs and promoting extra goods. Candidates that are successful at multitasking, providing customer service, and navigating various computer systems will be considered. We’ll give you compensated training and ongoing mentoring so you can serve our customers with confidence. This job is out in the sticks.

Work possibilities

• Customer service representatives assist customers with their insurance needs by responding to enquiries about coverage, prices, billing problems, and general policy reviews while recommending new products.
• By benefit selling to clients, inbound sales representatives may ensure that the right insurance coverage is provided (no cold calling allowed here!).
• Home & Car Sales Agents are experts at marketing home and auto insurance packages that are specifically designed to meet the needs of our clients.

Obligatory qualifications

• two years or more of post-secondary education
• 2 years of relevant work experience in place of the aforementioned

Only sales:

• Property & Casualty license; during training, if you don’t already have one, you can get it (and must remain compliant with licensing requirements as an employee)
• There are bilingual roles available as well, however Spanish fluency is required (speak and read)

Prerequisites for working from home

• a designated work area free from distractions and noise
• Using a DSL or cable modem, connect to the internet from a remote workplace at a minimum speed of 10 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up.
• You must physically connect the offered computer with a cable to the router or modem (no wireless connection)
• You must attach a surge protector to every piece of Progressive gear you get.
• Unless otherwise required by law, you are responsible for paying for high-speed internet access.
