Position Description:

You might be a good fit for Progressive’s bilingual contact center staff if you take pride in assisting people and thrive in a hectic setting. You will be fielding incoming calls from Spanish-speaking clients, so you must be able to multitask, have previous customer service experience, and be familiar with a variety of computer systems. You will receive comprehensive training and computer equipment for this remote position. Candidates who are preferred will be Texas residents.

Work possibilities

• Through benefits selling, bilingual inbound sales representatives guarantee that the right insurance coverage is provided by sharing their knowledge of Progressive products and services.
• In addition to providing more products, bilingual customer service representatives assist clients with their inquiries and insurance policy needs by responding to enquiries about coverage, prices, billing concerns, and general policy reviews.
• When putting up new claim reports, bilingual claims representatives show compassion for consumers who have just been in accidents. You will also recommend additional items to customers.

Obligatory qualifications

• two years or more of post-secondary education
• 2 years of relevant work experience in place of the aforementioned
• Only sales:
• Property & Casualty license; during training, if you don’t already have one, you can get it (and must remain compliant with licensing requirements as an employee)
• speaks Spanish and English well (verbal and written)

Prerequisites

• a designated work area free from distractions and noise
• Using a DSL or cable modem, connect to the internet from a remote workplace at a minimum speed of 10 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up.
• You must physically connect the offered computer with a cable to the router or modem (no wireless connection)
• You must attach a surge protector to every piece of Progressive gear you get.
• Unless otherwise required by law, you are responsible for paying for high-speed internet access.
