Position Description:
Customer service representatives assist customers with their insurance needs by responding to enquiries about coverage, prices, billing problems, and general policy reviews while recommending new products.
Obligatory qualifications
- two years or more of post-secondary education
- 2 years of relevant work experience in place of the aforementioned
- There are also bilingual roles available; must speak Spanish fluently (speak and read)
Prerequisites for working from home
- a designated work area free from distractions and noise
- Using a DSL or cable modem, connect to the internet from a remote workplace at a minimum speed of 10 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up.
- You must physically connect the offered computer with a cable to the router or modem (no wireless connection)
- You must attach a surge protector to every piece of Progressive gear you get.
- Unless otherwise required by law, you are responsible for paying for high-speed internet access.
