Responsibilities:
- A strong AP for the studio broadcast and a strong AD for the live game coverage in the PCR, PD Room, and distant locations.
- Responsible for creating teases, montages, highlights, and other production components for studio and live event productions.
- Uses the most up-to-date production methods and technological tools to create premium content and boost ratings.
- Regularly comes up with and presents workable and interesting content ideas to managers and leaders of events and programs during production meetings and elsewhere.
- Easily collaborates with a variety of production staff members, such as talent, producers, content producers, PD and PCR operational employees, in order to ensure that the production and its content are accurately and quickly broadcast.
- Utilizes q-cut technology and operates expertly in the digital context by making the most of server capabilities.
- Keeps up with current events globally and makes use of information resources to enhance productions and guarantee correctness.
- Delivers multimedia components in a fast, accurate, and complete manner and publishes to a variety of platforms.
- By proactively offering content, ideas, and suggestions originating from assigned games, supports game productions and studio shows.
Requirements:
- A thorough understanding of modern television production techniques and the ability to use that knowledge to create engaging programming.
- 2 years or more of experience in actual production.
- Strong writing and speaking abilities in both Spanish and English.
- Thrives under pressure and produces accurate, high-quality work on time.
- Strong communication and organizing abilities.
- Has extensive knowledge of soccer.
- Has expertise developing teases, segments, roll-outs, and highlights for assigned productions and shows; keeps up with technology advancements in animation, video editing, and graphics.
- Knows what material is interesting and pertinent to shows, and actively makes suggestions for concepts that fit.
- Strong familiarity with the US Hispanic sports television market.
- Editing experience for assigned game productions, including montages, teases, sales features, promotions, roll-out, and special animation components.
- Generating features, segments, and other studio program components.
- Strong editing skills for language, substance, and statistics as well as the ability to write eloquently and effectively within time constraints for live broadcasts are required.
- The capacity to shape and enrich tales using graphics, as well as a strong ability to review and proof content for grammar, spelling, clarity, and impact under pressure, all require expert editorial skills.
- It is essential to pay excellent attention to detail.
- The candidate must have leadership qualities, be a content creator, and be able to capitalize on relationships through cooperating with teammates.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and react swiftly and positively in a range of delicate production scenarios that are constantly changing and arising.
- Adaptable attitude toward a workplace and surroundings that are always changing.
- Strong appreciation for and knowledge of Hispanic culture.
- Has a solid understanding of popular culture, such as “what’s cool,” and contributes to describing the preferences of ESPN’s audience.
Preferred credentials:
- Graphic literacy trio/vcs

- Equivalent to a high school diploma
In California, this position pays between $27 and $37 per hour, whereas in Connecticut, it pays between $24 and $34 per hour. The pay package may include a few advantages, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
