Position Description:
An Assistant Planner is needed by our client, a well-known fashion company with headquarters in San Francisco, to work with them for a period of one year. Note that this position will only be performed remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Process daily inventory allocations from all hubs to regional franchise partners.
- Utilize allocation strategy and execution in accordance with the timetable and industry best practices to drive order fulfillment and optimize revenue.
- Maintain and adhere to the lists of franchise partner specialties.
- assistance with pack-to-store operations
- To meet or exceed customer service requirements, prioritize tasks
- Weekly volume forecasting should be created, analyzed, and distributed for
- 3PLs, DC operations, and franchise partners
- By analyzing past trends and incorporating operational improvement, support advanced inventory management activities.
- Support residual product management
- Implement peak volume plan as established by the manager of inventory management.
- Create a variety of ad-hoc reports.
- Keep up with the seasonal Fulfillment Reports and look at cases when units are stored but not assigned.
- bolster extra inventory management features (weights, claims, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferable
- Desired experience: 1-2 years in retail
- skills in customer service that can be seen
- ability to swiftly pick up technological applications
- PowerPoint and Excel intermediate; familiarity with the following Excel functions is preferred:
- Pivot tables, Pivot charts, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP,
- Minif, SUMIF(S), and nested IF (S)
