Assistant Planner – Aston Carter Remote Jobs

Job Type: Assistant Planner from home
Location: Colorado work from home
Company: Aston Carter
No weekends, just Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Keep track of when items that are made or bought for specific projects will be available.
- Uses project timelines to make production schedules and shop orders.
- Identifies shortages and keeps track of how they are fixed; checks that assemblies are complete; and coordinates the release of products.
- Check order release, action, and exception messages in ERP and take action on them.
- Keep an eye on returns to stock, new stock issues that weren’t planned, and project-related documents.
- Start ECRs when necessary
- Tell people about late orders and order status
- Handle orders and make plans for more orders
- Know what a bill of materials is (BOM)
Requirements:
- Professional experience working in a factory
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PP, Excel, and ERP
- Have worked with Bill of Materials before
