a chance to work directly with our internal client teams on consultation and research support for a range of ongoing and new business projects as a Research and Analytics Assistant on our analytics team in New York. Our team is essential to many facets of the Brand Consulting company and provides a variety of research services and products to brand clients. The design, execution, and delivery of measurement and reporting programs for clients will be supported by the research and analytics assistant.
Responsibilities:
- To gather and evaluate data from conventional, social, and digital media, use third-party research tools.
- Recognize the measurement opportunities in the sponsorship, media, and marketing sectors, and keep up with best practices and tools.
- Utilize data to provide fresh insights in order to enhance campaign design and execution.
- Reduce manual reporting and data redundancy while successfully managing, organizing, and cleaning data.
- Utilize tools and skills for data visualization to evaluate, present, and communicate data reports to important audiences, including both internal and external clients.
- Implement and maintain measurement and evaluation frameworks across a variety of ongoing client projects in collaboration with the client servicing teams.
- Ad hoc client analytics initiatives and new business propositions can be run and contributed to.
- Incorporate research and data insights into presentations and white papers in an efficient manner.
- On a monthly basis, clients are given market insights and competition activity reports.
Requirements:
- Background in market research or professional working knowledge of data and analytics.
- Some practical experience doing studies combining qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
- An advantage would be having some knowledge of media and marketing measuring technologies, such as NetBase, CrowdTangle, MRI, Simmons, etc.
- Good knowledge of data and statistical concepts.
- A knowledge of social, digital, and traditional media buying is advantageous.
- A passion for collecting, analyzing, and condensing data into formats that are clear and straightforward.
- The capacity to manage numerous projects at once while remaining motivated, organized, and focused.
- Ability to swiftly adjust to new projects and meet deadlines.
- Abilities to handle projects, time, and clients.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office. (e.g. Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
- A plus would be some knowledge of data visualization software, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.

Compensation
This position’s starting hourly wage is $22.00. Benefits and a bonus are also available for this employment.
