Responsibilities:
- Initiate, plan, and carry out business-focused testing to make that applications operate in accordance with user expectations and within set parameters.
- Assist Product Owners and IT with the documentation of user stories by acting as a subject-matter expert.
- Find, record, and replicate errors.
- When an application doesn’t perform as expected, work closely with the product owner to find the problem and suggest fixes, enhancements, and updates.
- Organize and assist the testing role’s new team members’ training
- Keeps track of testing progress and updates project leaders on it.
- When necessary, may act as a product owner substitute.
- Does other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent training or experience
- 3 years of experience in the field
Education and experience requirements for the preferred job
- Understanding of the business procedures and software used for crew scheduling
- Practical expertise and exposure to a technology setting
- Working knowledge of Agile techniques and technologies
- Understanding of Azure DevOps
Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications
- Understanding of Microsoft Office’s Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook programs
- Understanding of testing procedures, program analysis abilities, and quality management
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Satisfactory performance and attendance
- The capacity to function without much direction
