Responsibilities:

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) improvement work preferred.
• Interacts with providers and/or members to improve healthcare outcomes such as preventive care adherence.
• Aids the PE program
• Participation in workgroups that is active
• Quality information is delivered to internal and external constituents through written and verbal communication.
• Actively seeks process improvement opportunities, resulting in more efficient and effective work streams
• Create an independent work plan for provider outreach and execute deliverables.
• Supports more complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Consults with constituents on business solutions, such as education and process improvement opportunities.
• HEDIS gaps in care, data feed, and remote medical record collection discussions and education for complex provider partners
• Collaborate closely with the provider partner to improve Aetna-provider collaboration.
• Supports HEDIS quality initiatives and regulatory/contractual requirements, including outreach to noncompliant members in the designated outreach services.
• Supports effective medical record capture for HEDIS medical record review and data abstraction.

Pay Scale

The typical salary range for this position is: Maximum: 40.10 Minimum: 19.50 Maximum: 40.10

Please keep in mind that this range represents the average pay for all positions in the job grade in which this position is located. The actual salary offer will consider a variety of factors, including location.

Requirements:

Qualifications Required

• Must be a resident of AR, CO, IA, KS, MO, NE, ND, NM, OK, SD, or TX.
• A minimum of three years of recent and related health care marketing, outreach, and/or health education experience is required.
• Strong communication skills and prior experience speaking with medical providers are required.
• Ability to work on one’s own.
• Knowledge of standard corporate software packages and applications

Qualifications Preferred

• Recent and relevant experience with HEDIS criteria
• Prior experience in a medical office or provider education
• Experience with Medicare Stars or Health Insurance
• 3 to 5 years of clinical and/or managed care experience in the healthcare industry or quality management is required.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Related Experience
