This position will collaborate with CareAllies, a division of Cigna. CareAllies is a management company that collaborates with payer and provider organizations to enhance the value, quality, and patient experience of treatment in order to improve healthcare for all. You will collaborate closely with providers as a member of the Provider Engagement Team to hasten their shift to value-based care and to support them in managing the long-term health of their patients. In order to support treatment plans, CareAllies’ consultative approach places a strong emphasis on physician participation, delivery system organization and culture change, actionable data and analytics, as well as patient interaction. To promote transformation and guarantee success in a value-based market, we work together with providers.

Responsibilities:

The CareAllies Provider Engagement Representative position is intended for someone just starting their career to help them advance their management abilities and gain experience in a fast-paced, adaptable workplace. The function of a Provider Engagement Representative provides:

Roles and obligations

  • To aid in contract management and to give supporting analytics for network and performance optimization, acts as the principal point of contact for providers and provider staff. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the network’s doctors, providers, and practice managers. This includes monitoring performance in various incentive- and/or value-based programs.
  • Support assigned groups’ tactical operations by handling contracting, data integrity, communications, and relationship management.
  • Develop and distribute educational materials for providers and provider staff on contracts, guidelines, quality and service line efforts, and financial performance.
  • Presents during monthly operational meetings with healthcare professionals, healthcare personnel, and/or physician leadership.
  • Identifies, creates, monitors, and reports on important program performance measures, including utilization, coding, and STARs/quality performance.
  • Resolve the underlying causes of provider complaints, grievances, claims, and care delivery.
  • Assist in the gathering of data for the STARS and clinical metrics, and create plans for increased provider participation in quality programs.
  • Prepare papers for the monthly financial review with senior leadership and take part in it.
  • In order to create solutions for strategic business needs, partners with other corporate departments, including but not limited to Health Services, Finance, Claims, and Coding.
  • Continually consult an internal representative regarding wants and assistance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is necessary.
  • Degrees in Business, Finance, Operations, Public Health, or Professional Sales
  • Strong project management, consumer messaging/design, and health insurance knowledge are essential.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentational communication skills.
  • Public speaking expertise is a plus.
  • Excel at an intermediate level is preferred (knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Preferably with financial/trend analysis experience
  • Team player with a track record of successfully managing and fostering working relationships in a matrix environment to gain buy-in and produce results.
  • Imaginative thinker having the capacity to go beyond the norm and put concepts into practice
  • Powerful problem-solving abilities

  • Journey that is at least 50% local.
  • Work Designation: This position is classified as flexible and calls for a mix of office days, WAH, and field work. Vehicle and a Current Driver’s License are required (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Schedule: Provider meetings, including some late-night and early-morning meetings as well as sporadic weekend conferences.
