Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for the Member Advocacy Center’s online banking support staff in order to facilitate the settlement of concerns brought up by members
  • Engage directly with digital banking and technology partners to assist in resolving reported issues that need a technical fix.
  • Help resolve reported platform and system disruptions affecting the functioning of our online banking systems by collaborating with IT Service Desk and Application Support teams.
  • Create reasonable suggestions for improving process efficiency, reporting, Policy & Procedures, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and network operating standards.
  • To successfully assist leadership in resolving business issues, develop and create ad hoc studies and business cases.
  • To recommend more effective work flow methods and identify competent solutions, use technology-based solutions.
  • Effectively communicate with all organizational levels on the product, reporting, and data to create understanding and agreement.
  • To guarantee that third party billing and payments are accurate for the services given, process and validate invoices against the available system and usage data.
  • Provide coordination for change management and/or act as a stakeholder for the department on enterprise-level projects.
  • Carry out more tasks as needed
  • The chosen candidate will be in charge of making sure that all account and related information is kept secure and confidential and of making sure that his or her work complies with all relevant laws and rules, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Requirements:

Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.

  • GED or high school diploma

Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting
  • Involvement with banks or credit unions in the past
  • Knowledge of payments, including but not limited to: credit and/or debit card processing, electronic payments, newer, faster payment networks, or other payment processing fields, like ACH/Share drafts exception processing

Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications

  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, either through employment or schooling combined with actual use of the programs
  • Competent in Symitar’s Episys, Q2eBanking, Ensenta, Compass, and Partnercare, as well as systems connected to Visa DPS, First Data, and PSCU
  • Ability to show superior oral and writing communication skills, including the capacity to interact with people at all organizational levels in an effective manner.
  • Ability to exhibit excellent analytical abilities and the independence to investigate and evaluate data
  • Ability to operate well both individually and in a team context under pressure from high volume and deadlines with little supervision
  • Self-motivation and comfort taking ownership, accountability, and responsibility for functional obligations.
  • Possessing the capacity for self-motivation and displaying a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization
  • The capacity to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to sustain acceptable attendance and performance
  • The ability to pass the relevant pre-hire compliance checks conducted by American Airlines and Credit Union
