Position Description:

The Data Entry Clerk Specialist, Data Entry Administrative Remote is in charge of entering and maintaining accurate and up-to-date data into a computer system. The position necessitates a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and typing speed. Working with various forms of information and data entry systems to ensure correct record keeping is part of the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Inputting and keeping accurate and up-to-date data in computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets.
  • Data accuracy is ensured by evaluating data for mistakes and inconsistencies before entering it.
  • Data verification and modification to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Obtaining and analyzing data from a variety of sources to guarantee correctness and completeness.
  • Creating reports and conducting basic data analysis with Excel and other software.
  • Maintaining and updating electronic and hard copy file systems.
  • Helping to develop and implement data input policies and procedures to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identifying and resolving data discrepancies or difficulties with team members and management.
  • Time management and completion of assigned work within specified timeframes.
  • Protecting sensitive data confidentiality and security.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute are required.
  • Excellent computer abilities, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and precise.
  • To fulfill deadlines, you must be able to multitask and prioritize your responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizing skills.
  • Working solo or as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • The ability to retain secrecy and deal with sensitive information.
